A related thread to fact-checking: instead of asking is this true?, ask how is this trying to persuade you? We built the Prta system for highlighting propaganda techniques in news articles, and co-organized SemEval-2021 Task 6 on detecting persuasion techniques in multimodal (text + image) memes.
